Midwest Collaborative for Library Services (MCLS) is presenting two interactive, in-person workshops that will give you the skills and confidence you need to identify PC components, use various devices, and know where to begin looking when you’re not sure what to do. Baking equipment collections

Suggestions for Free Speakers for Garden Club?

Hello All, We host our local garden club at the library every month, and it is increasingly difficult to find speakers for them. We have had MSU Extension Center out a number of times, and we have also hosted some members of other local garden clubs. The garden club has no budget so I am looking for speakers that are willing to come for free. Does anybody have any suggestions? The Library Director, under guidance of the Board of Trustees, develops and maintains the library service program meeting the needs of its constituents in the Joplin Public Library service area. Public library experience, including a successful track record reporting to a governing board and experience with a tax levy, are preferred qualifications. Compensation. The starting salary range is $70,000 - 80,000 (dependent on qualifications) with a competitive benefits package.
