Does anyone out there have a great newspaper storage & display solution? If so, I'd like to see a photo. Thanks! Nellie *Note: You are probably curious. Yes, we are allowing in library use of our newspapers. We have asked patrons to put read papers in a designated bin which we check several times a day, putting any accumulated items in quarantine (we've had very good compliance with this). We've purchased duplicate subscriptions to our local papers to account for copies being in quarantine. We offer gloves for anyone who would like them. The Association of Rural and Small Libraries annual conference is online this year. Staff of Michigan libraries: Do you lead meetings at your library? Do you facilitate conversations between staff or patrons and wish you had more training in how to do so effectively? Ever feel ill equipped to handle situations of conflict in a meeting or guide groups to agreement? MCLS will again be offering, in partnership with the Library of Michigan, training presented by We Can Work It Out, LLC on essential skills for library staff in Michigan to facilitate effective conversations and meetings! The workshops, to be held online this year for your safety and convenience, will include learning theory, as well as practice of skills and peer feedback. We want to come up with a good program that would be sustainable. Counting virtual attendance??

Hi. For those of us doing virtual programs for which you post a program and people may watch when it is convenient for them, how are you counting attendance? Do you count views? Do you count views of a certain time length? Must the view be for the entire program? do you estimate audience age by the target audience?
