Paper and online library card applications

Hi, I have a few questions about library card applications. Does your library still use paper applications? For parents with multiple children, do you make them fill out one application per child? Do you offer an online application, and does it have the legal "I'm responsible for my stuff" that they must click to accept? Thanks for the feedback. Free metal sloped shelves (pickup only)

Hello! The Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library has eight (8) metal shelves available for free to the first interested party (pickup only). The shelves were given to us by another library when they gave us a shelving unit, but we do not need them. The shelves are 35.5" L x 9.25" W x 7.25" H. They are sloped so gravity pulls the books to the back of the shelf. They are an off-white/cream color. The closest approximation I can find is on Demco: https://www.demco.com/multipurpose-shelves. FREE Children's Table and Chairs

Hi All, We are looking for a new home for our wooden children's table and chairs (pictures attached). They have served us well for many, many years, but we are running out of room and will be switching to a smaller set that takes up less space. As you can probably tell from the pictures, this furniture has been well loved! It is perfectly functional but could use some TLC (and maybe some elbow grease to remove that glitter glue). Table diameter: 42" Table height: 22" There are four chairs that fit around and tuck under the table. The seats are about 11.5" from the floor and the back of the chairs hits about 23". You will have to pick up from Dimondale (just southwest of Lansing). Feel free to reach out with more questions if you have any!
