Fluency in HTML and CSS. Teaching or information literacy instruction experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a team based environment. Experience working in a management or leadership position. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong customer service focus and commitment to service excellence. Silent Auction Item Request for MLA Conference

So many of you have been involved in past years for bringing the Silent Auction gift baskets to the Michigan Library Association's conference. The committee has decided to do them again this year, so I am hoping you can again be so generous as to bring something to the Annual Conference in Lansing. Hello! As you all know, this week is Right to Read Week. Our social media team is looking for advice on how "political" to make posts. Our community has faced book challengers in the past and one of the mayoral candidates has "respecting parents' opinions" as a campaign issue. We've heard from other libraries who are going with an America/freedom sort of theme in an effort to counteract backlash from book banning communities, but we're not sure that will satisfy our particular challengers.
