Hi, Kat. I would suggest either getting a folding, wall-mounted changing table in both men's and women's bathroom (out a family bathroom if you are so lucky to hand one), or a changing pad with a plastic cover for the countertop. You would likely have to make a holder for the pad; but it would keep the pad from moving around during changing. Best of luck! Baby Changing question

Good Morning Kat, Could you put in an actual changing table in the corner of the children's area. At least then it is designated and the germs will be there, not on the regular furniture. Hello everyone, So, this may seem like a strange question, but I wanted to put it out there. Dear Librarians of Michigan: My name is Kendra Greene<https://gcc01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fartandsee…>, and I'm an essayist researching a book about the dangerous things we keep in collections because it would be more dangerous to forget, deny, censure, or destroy them. I've taken a special interest in the 1874 book of arsenical wallpapers Shadows From the Walls of Death: Being Arsenical Wallpapers, Gathered by R. C. Kenzie, Member of State Board of Health. This book of two pages of text and 86 leaves of arsenical wallpapers was made in an edition of 100 and sent to the "leading libraries of the state." I've been able to locate 4 extant copies (at the National Library of Medicine in Bethesda, University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan State University in Lansing, and the old Department of Public Health copy now at the Michigan History Center) and a pamphlet version of the text (at Harvard's Countway Medical Library). November is National Runaway Prevention Month and Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week

Hi Michigan Team, As we're planning for fall, please keep in mind that November is National Runaway Prevention Month and Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. Though most organizations don't have their 2019 information up, much of the info from last year is still available. November is National Runaway Prevention Month (NRPM), a public awareness campaign designed to “Shine a Light” on the experiences of runaway and homeless youth that too often remain invisible. It is also an opportunity to spotlight the resources available to support youth in crisis throughout the nation. As part of the campaign, individuals, organizations and communities across the nation are encouraged to work together to prevent youth homelessness. National Runaway Prevention Month is spearheaded each year by the National Runaway Safeline (NRS), a national nonprofit organization committed to ensuring that runaway, homeless and at-risk youth are safe and off the streets, with the support of the Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB).
