Libraries and Money Smart Week, April 23-30, 2016 [http://www.ala.org/offices/sites/ala.org.offices/files/content/2016%20MSW%2…] There is still time for your library to sign-up and join the 1,000 other libraries across the country that will be providing financial education programming during Money Smart Week<http://www.moneysmartweek.org/>. Money Smart Week is a partnership between ALA, the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and other national partners such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and hundreds of libraries, big and small, of all types. To participate your library only need to provide one program during the week. There are lots of easy programs to create, such as money focused story times, creating a display of financial resources your library has, or you can participate in some of the national activities such as Geocashe<http://www.moneysmartweekpartners.org/geocache> for academic libraries. And thanks to the CFPB<http://promotions.usa.gov/cfpblibraries.html> you can order, for free, posters-booksmarks-fliers and other materials to help you promote. Whether you are new to cataloging and need to build your basic skills or you are an experienced cataloger who wants to develop more advanced skills, we have a workshop for you. MCLS offers Assigning Library of Congress call numbers - Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced. Each builds on the previous workshop. Our plan is to deliver a program manual that is genuinely helpful and regularly consulted. Looking for a bindery

Hello - Looking for a bindery to bind just a few, small (6x9) periodicals in a flat glued binding - like a softbound book. Bessenberg is out - they'll only do a hardbound compilation. Also, this faculty member won't allow for spiral bound or anything too "catchy" for his library shelf. His word, not mine, but I take the point - he'd like a binding with some staying power. I have the files in pdf format. Any names come to mind?
