When I presented in Harrison last week, Sheila Bissonnette, Director of the Harrison Library & the Clare Pere Marquette District Library, said she had read on Michlib that you were compiling a list of my upcoming northern MI events. I thought perhaps I could simplify the process for you by sending my confirmed itinerary to-date. I do have two additional locations pending confirmation, but I did not include them on this list in the event they do not proceed with hosting the program. I am both humbled by and deeply grateful to Michigan libraries for their wonderful response and support. At the conclusion of my UP trip, I will have presented at over 125 MI libraries since 2012, including eight return engagements. My departed dad was a lifelong resident of Michigan. Although I am privileged to be the conduit to bring "A Thousand Letters Home" to print, I consider this to be his book not mine. Carrying on the legacy of our WWII veterans and sharing my father's message via "The Journey of the Letters" in over 200 venues has literally been life changing for me. Thank you for your efforts in helping to pass the word about this program throughout communities in northern Michigan! I routinely participate in media interviews in advance of my events to assist the host venue with publicity. If you are familiar with any newspapers or magazines that are dedicated to northern Michigan, please forward the names of the publications and I will be happy to reach out to them directly. I am also attaching my press release template. Thanks again, Lisa. I hope perhaps I will meet you in person Bayliss Public Library program on Sept. 21. Best wishes to you. Teresa K.
