Successful projects will improve online public discovery and use of historical archives relating to US history and democracy. Applicants can request up to $150,000 and projects can last one or two years. Funds can be used to process, re-house, and/or digitize records as well as any other activities that helps make collections more accessible online. Michigan History Alliance Grant Program<https://www.hsmichigan.org/awards/mha-grant-program> - Closing November 14, 2025 The Michigan History Alliance (MHA) Grant Program provides grants for small- to medium-size historical organizations in Michigan through straightforward applications and reporting. The Historical Society of Michigan (HSM) will award the grants in amounts ranging up to $2,500 to nonprofit, city, or tribal HSM member history organizations that have annual operating budgets less than $250,000.
