We will discuss Apple products including iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad, Google Android-powered phones, as well as other mobile devices. Popular uses and applications for these devices, with particular emphasis on those that support National Library of Medicine resources will be highlighted. Participants will learn what it takes to create mobile applications and will participate in a hands-on activity to create a simple mobile website. Quick Response Codes and Augmented Reality will also be discussed. If you own or have access to a mobile device, please bring it to the class.
