Hi! At Novi, we participate and partner with our City to host a Veteran’s luncheon event. The library supplies gifts to the Veterans made from our Makerspace, as well as staffing to greet the Vets, and is also a judge for the essay contest that is hosted for high school students to share what Veterans Day means to them. How do libraries celebrate Veterans in November? Do you plan something special for them? We are thinking of either having a program or offering coffee and donuts prior to November 11th (many veterans participate in parades and other festivities on that day).
