Free Event-2nd Annual Romantic Regency Afternoon @ Main Branch of Detroit Public Library - Saturday, May 9th from 2-5pm
Dearest Gentle Readers, The Detroit Public Library (main branch) wishes to invite all Bridgerton fans, Janeites, and Regency-era enjoyers to our SECOND Annual Romantic Regency Afternoon ball in our beautiful Adam Strohm Hall on Saturday, May 9th, 2026 at 2pm. Entertainment shall include: * A dance caller who will teach proper period dances * DIY dance cards and paper fans * Light refreshments * A photo booth with a photographer on site to commemorate your experience Period dress or modern formalwear is encouraged but not required! The first 100 debutantes and escorts to arrive at the ball will receive a small token of our esteem. Supplies are limited, so do be on time!
