Invitation: Internet for All: Michigan Local Coordination Workshop

The new Michigan High-Speed Internet Office<https://www.michigan.gov/leo/bureaus-agencies/mihi> has hired their new Chief Connectivity Officer<https://www.michigan.gov/whitmer/news/press-releases/2022/07/26/gilchrist-announces-eric-frederick-selected-as-first-chief-connectivity-officer> and it is Eric Frederick, formerly of Connect Michigan. You may already be familiar with Eric or have worked with him before. He has been a super advocate of libraries and other community anchor institutions during his career and works closely with staff at the Library of Michigan. Connecting all Michiganders to affordable, reliable high-speed internet is critical to our economic stability and this event will provide an opportunity for us to discuss ways we can work together to efficiently and effectively utilize broadband funds from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and other federal broadband dollars to the maximum extent.
