Join the North Baltimore Public Library as our next *Fiscal Officer*—the essential partner who keeps our finances rock-solid and our services thriving. *What You’ll Do* - *Lead the Library’s Finances* - Develop and monitor the annual budget & appropriations. - Maintain accurate, transparent records in full compliance with Ohio public-library laws. - *Keep Payroll & Benefits on Track* - Process payroll bi-weekly. - Manage employee benefits and related reporting. - *Advise & Collaborate* - Work closely with the Library Director and staff; report directly to the Board of Trustees. - Present clear monthly financial reports and coordinate periodic audits. - *Problem-Solve with Independence* - Exercise sound judgment to keep daily fiscal operations running smoothly. *What We’re Looking For* - Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or public-sector finance (library or municipal experience a plus). - Familiarity with Ohio’s public-library fiscal regulations—or a willingness to learn quickly. - Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks. - Proven ability to work 10 hours per week with occasional extra hours for audits or year-end close. - Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit. *Compensation* - Hourly wage commensurate with education and experience. - Part-time schedule (10 hrs/week) with flexibility to arrange hours during the Library’s open days. *How to Apply* 1.
