Last night, Northville District Library hosted Parvinder Mehta, a Sikh American poet, to share poems from her recently published Anthology, *On Wings of Words*. Parvinder is a born teacher and talked about her poems as she read them, making her words very accessible to the audience. Our patrons really enjoyed the program- most participants even purchased a copy of her book. She currently teaches undergraduate courses in literature, Asian art, and film along with writing courses at Wayne State.
