Notes from MiYouth virtual meeting 3.26.2020
Hello, Thank you so much to all who joined us this morning! We had about 120 participants and it was wonderful to hear from so many on the call. A few take-aways from the conversation: * Communities are craving routines and boredom busters, so post a schedule with content that might engage the whole family. * Think outside-the-box on how to reach out to those in your community that do not have virtual access. (Don't forget accessibility guidelines) * Teen engagement might be as simple as offering them a virtual chat or game room - lots of concern for teens in this time overall. * Less is more; families are very overwhelmed right now so share challenges and engaging activities that are not necessarily curriculum heavy.
