Thank you so much to all who joined us this morning! We had about 120 participants and it was wonderful to hear from so many on the call.
A few take-aways from the conversation:
- Communities are craving routines and boredom busters, so post a schedule with content that might engage the whole family.
- Think outside-the-box on how to reach out to those in your community that do not have virtual access. (Don’t forget accessibility guidelines)
- Teen engagement might be as simple as offering them a virtual chat or game room – lots of concern for teens in this time overall.
- Less is more; families are very overwhelmed right now so share challenges and engaging activities that are not necessarily curriculum heavy.
