Inclusive Libraries Virtual Conversation Group

Hello! I just wanted to share this invitation again to anyone who may be interested in learning about how to better serve patrons with disabilities as far as library programs go, although I suspect we will definitely discuss other library services, adaptations, tech, signage and other related topics as well. We intend to invite library staff and non-library staff, with and without disabilities, to share insight, resources, and experiences so that we may learn and enhance our understanding of the library experience for people with disabilities - and how to improve it. This will be virtual monthly meetings. Please fill out this Google Form <https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfuGXecRlx_i3SqcmKJHs7p6wcaYgKwThYl4K_1WAry7TSVGw/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=116934473421057381068> if you are interested. We've already met once and will be meeting again during the last week of this month. As far as I know, there are a few other professional meetings and some libraries already provide inclusive and disability-centered programs and resources. The American Library Association also has communities, discussion boards, and a workgroup if you have an ALA membership. I've accumulated a lot of information in a Google Sheet which anyone in this group will have access to and can also share resources in.
