Hi Karren, At TADL we decided to add it to our policy instead of worrying about keeping a zillion forms and worrying about minors checking out items since they legally can not sign a document. When you get a card you agree to all the policies including the liability. Here's the link to the general Circ Policies <https://www.tadl.org/policies/borrowing>and Library of Things <https://www.tadl.org/policies/Things> Policy. All are vetted by our lawyer. Additionally, we removed any age requirement for any Thing (previously laptops and hotspots only circulated to 18+ years old ) because I thought it could possibly be used against us with patrons asking for certain books/movies/music being circulated by age since we did it for Things.
