Content in Caribbean Search has materials in English, French, and Spanish. EBSCO searching includes field codes which are two letter abbreviations set to search specific terms. To search for materials in French or Spanish, use the field code LA. For example, a search for biographical information in Spanish would be biography AND LA Spanish. To locate the field codes that work within EBSCO’s Caribbean Search, click the question mark icon next to the search box and then scroll down the menu and choose Database Help. Click on Caribbean Search and then choose Searchable Fields to view the applicable codes. This method will work in any EBSCO eResource to find applicable field codes.
