Hackley Public Library (Muskegon, MI) — Full-Time Information Specialist The Hackley Public Library is seeking a friendly, customer-service-oriented Information Specialist to join its staff. The position, which is full-time and requires a 40-hour weekly commitment, involves providing direct service at our public service desks, primarily the Main Desk and Youth Services, by helping patrons with circulation, information requests, technology, and finding items in this busy urban library environment. The role entails working evenings and weekends and is included in the SEIU Local 517M bargaining unit, offering a good benefits package. The best applicants will have a high school diploma (some college is preferred), should have between one and two years' experience in customer service, and be at ease with library technology and the public. It would be an advantage to have previous experience in a library and to have bilingual skills that reflect our community.
