Hello, Victor and Friends, I once established a partnership with the librarian at Thumb Correctional Facility in Lapeer. They may be interested or could potentially place you in touch with another Corrections facility. They'll have a selective list of books, themes, and genres that are deemed allowable for their patrons. Best of luck! Warm wishes for your Wednesday, Sherrema A. Would love to get CC'ed on county jails interested in receiving books. If any of you are compiling a list, please share the results.
I am sure the members of the Upper Peninsula Publishers & Authors Association (UPPAA.org) would participate in book donations to lockups.
thanks Victor

Try checking with your local county jail to see if they could accept your paperback leftovers. Ours was very thankful for some. They weren't able to take any hardcovers but at least some of the extras got taken.

ThriftBooks broke up with us. Wound is fresh. Still hurting. Can't discuss. Scotch will get me through it.
What do you do with the books that remain after your book sale?
