1) What company did your library use for the storywalk signs? Assuming you mean the frames/holders? We've used laminated pages in downtown store windows; and have other sets circulating in two county parks, using the standard 3-part metal realtor signs. 2) How have the materials stood up through weather and overall use? The pages are all laminated; those for the outside are on a heavy lamination material. Still, the signs outdoors degrad pretty quickly and generally can't be reused. Those in our downtown merchants are currently re-used in two area preschools. 3) How difficult is it to switch out stories throughout the year? These are easy-peasy 4) Is there one thing you wish you could change about your storywalk? That there was SOME GOOD WAY to measure/collect data on interactions!! QR codes have proven ineffective, and we struggle to generate any data for grants. We change them out 3x a year: spring, summer and fall. Standing up well, although moisture does occasionally seep under the plexiglass. We mitigate it by laminating the pages. 3) How difficult is it to switch out stories throughout the year? Not hard - two screws, but a little awkward. It helps to have two people. 4) Is there one thing you wish you could change about your storywalk? Perhaps to have the top frame that holds the plexiglass in place on hinges instead of having to lift it off completely when changing stories.
