I mean, if you want to include gender. I believe the appropriate way to do it is to list: He/Him/His She/Her/Hers They/Them/Theirs And you should probably consider making it so they can choose more than one. Some non-binary individuals are comfortable with using more than one set of pronouns. On Mon, Jun 7, 2021 at 12:55 PM Barbara Beaton via Michlib-l < michlib-l@mcls.org> wrote:
We also don't request any gender related information on our card application forms. (Not sure why you would, honestly.)

Hi Katherine,
We don't ask gender on any of our patron forms. It was very easy to remove that question.

Hello, I was wondering if any library had a library card application form that included other options for gender other than male or female that you could share? We recently had a patron who doesn't identify as either and since our applications are outdated I thought it may be best to get something new.
Thank you!
