Hello everyone! We had Greg Bodker present at our library last week and he was excellent! He arrived an hour before the presentation to set up and Greg is very good at technology – he got his computer hooked up effortlessly to our clever touch. His “Let’s Go Birding” presentation was wonderful and he provided photos that I could use for my flyers. What impresses me about Greg is his knowledge of birds and his AMAZING photography. He even shows short videos of the birds and their sounds. Greg knows his subject matter well. He even brought some items for show and tell to help with the birding experience. Did you know you should scrub out a bird bath frequently? I did not. He recommends you go with a cement bird bath rather than one of the pretty ones that is smoothly painted because the birds cannot grip the edges. He will even let you know why NOT to use a fountain in the bird bath … It is little details like that all throughout his program that will not only enhance your birding experience, but also make it better for the birds too. He cares deeply for birds everywhere! I highly recommend Greg! If you have further questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly at circ@whitecloudlibrary.org <mailto:circ@whitecloudlibrary.org> . Have a wonderful day! 😊 Linda Circulation Desk White Cloud Community Library (231) 689-6631
