Hello colleagues, As part of the Michigan Poet Laureate Tour, supported by the Library of Michigan and funded through the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), Warren Public Library is pleased to welcome Michigan Poet Laureate Melba Joyce Boyd on Tuesday, June 2 at 6:00 p.m. (Tomorrow evening.) Melba Joyce Boyd is an award-winning poet, memoirist, and scholar whose work explores history, culture, identity, and the power of storytelling. Her contributions to Michigan's literary landscape have earned her recognition both statewide and nationally. This free public program offers a unique opportunity for readers, writers, students, educators, and community members to hear from one of Michigan's most distinguished literary voices.
