Good Morning, I thought I would share the latest and what will be my final, update concerning the PressReader cybersecurity incident of several days ago. It sounds like they are continuing to work through their backlog and will be current soon. Unrelated to the incident but relevant for PressReader subscribing libraries in Michigan, several weeks ago a colleague at a TLN member library that subscribes to PressReader contacted me to ask if I knew why the Detroit News was no longer included in the PressReader site. I did not know, so I reached out to PressReader. Their reply is shared below. TLN PressReader subscribing libraries told me they did not receive advance notice from PressReader that the Detroit News would no longer be available via this product.
