
Good afternoon, everyone! I'm excited to announce the Main Branch of the Detroit Public Library will be hosting two acclaimed horror writers on Saturday, June 3rd! Jumata Emill<https://www.jumataemill.com/> is a journalist from Louisiana who recently penned the YA horror novel The Black Queen. Dr. Robin R. Means Coleman<https://communication.northwestern.edu/faculty/robin-r-means-coleman.html> is a tenured professor at Northwestern University known for her non-fiction works Horror Noire and The Black Guy Dies First, among others. 1 pm: Join Jumata in conversation with Nancy Kaffer from The Detroit Free Press in the Media Room. 3 pm: Dr. Coleman will give a presentation based on The Black Guy Dies First in the Galleria.
