Lansing Community College Library has an opening for a part-time reference and instruction librarian. Responsibilities include: * Providing in person and virtual reference assistance * Teaching academic research and information literacy skills * Participating in the selection of academic resources * Serving as library liaison for departments assigned * Developing content for the library website, online tutorials and research guides Qualifications (Required) * Master's degree in Library & Information Science from an ALA accredited program * Minimum (1) year recent reference experience * Experience with mobile and web technologies, social networks and digital resources * Strong commitment to service excellence Qualifications (Preferred) * Library instruction experience in an academic library setting * Familiarity with web content development * Excellent communication, problem solving and teamwork skills This is a 28 hour per week academic professional faculty position, including some evenings and weekends.
