Hello Michlib! On Monday BPL hosted long-time music critic Gary Graff and his program Essential Albums of the '80s & '90s. The program is an accompaniment to his books 501 Essential Albums of the '80s and 501 Essential Albums of the '90s and was excellent! Gary, and a panel of 8 other friends/contributors, discussed albums released during those eras that they thought were essential. Gary would ask a trivial question, the audience would respond with the answer, and then one of the panel would elaborate on the album. All of the panel contributed to Gary's books. The audience of 41 was lively and enjoyed the program. Gary and the panel were great- personable, humorous, knowledgeable, and engaging. Gary's contact info is below. His fee was $600.
