[Michlib-l] Reading Workshops?

Hello Librarians, I have another question with a million sub-questions: does anyone run reading workshops for patrons who want to improve their reading skills? If so, what qualifications are required to perform those? Do you use an external service? How do you help patrons who might be self-conscious about their reading level?
