All, As you know the Michigan Activity Pass has evolved from its paper based, metro Detroit libraries focused, 20 MAP partner destinations origins in 2007 (have we really been doing this for almost 20 years??? Holy Toledo!!!) to its current statewide, online, 476 MAP partner destinations form of today. Over the years the most common MAP related question Brigette and I have gotten from both library staff and patrons has been "Is there an up to date directory that lists all current MAP partner destinations?" Brigette addressed this question a number of years ago by way of creation and maintenance of three MAP brochures that are available along with the bookmarks, postcards, posters, and other MAP related promotional materials at [ https://tln.org/page/map/#/activity-pass-call-to-action/ | https://tln.org/page/map/#/activity-pass-call-to-action/ ] While the brochures are great, updating them every time a new partner joins MAP is a time consuming process. Thus, Brigette worked with MAP software host LocalHop to come up with a searchable Destination Directory of all active MAP destination partners. The brand new Destination Directory went live while I was on vacation (that's the best kind of project, right?!) and is located here on the MAP website [ https://miactivitypass.org/directory/ | https://miactivitypass.org/directory/ ] The new Destination Directory gives us the ability to bring a new MAP partner to the attention of library patrons and staff immediately upon our entering their information into the admin side of the MAP database.
