Monday July 20 @ 6:30pm – 8:00pm EST - Trustee 102- Advanced Trustee-https://libraryofmichigan.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/libraryofmichigan/event... These sessions are FREE and will be recorded. Registration is required. (see links above) Both will be presented by me, and Shirley Bruursema, a Michigan Library Consultant with many years of Trustee experience. The sessions will cover board topics such as responsibilities and duties of a Michigan Public Library Trustee, establishment basics, library funding, OMA,FOIA, director relationships, public finance, and public administration. It is recommended that trustees attend both trainings as the sessions work together, but if preferred, trustees can register for only one session.
