I'm working with the 6-12 Literacy Consultants at Oakland Schools to put on this workshop. It is supposed to be for all book lovers...but will also give school & public librarians a chance to collaborate with ELA teachers who might not have any experience with working with a school or public librarian. We will discuss the 6-12 literacy standards and some common core connections that is usually not the focus in library workshops.
