I'm working with the 6-12 Literacy Consultants at Oakland Schools to put on this workshop.  It is supposed to be for all book lovers...but will also give school & public librarians a chance to collaborate with ELA teachers who might not have any experience with working with a school or public librarian.  We will discuss the 6-12 literacy standards and some common core connections that is usually not the focus in library workshops.  There will be teachers who do not have a chance to go to national conferences and have no experience with publishers...so "new" will include 2019...but also a few years older.
