NORWELD is seeking a Communications and Outreach Coordinator to help strengthen member engagement, promote shared resources, and support the work of libraries across Northwest Ohio. This part-time role offers a dynamic mix of outreach, marketing, and member service—perfect for someone who enjoys connecting people with programs, tools, and opportunities that make a difference in their communities. ------------------------------ *Key Responsibilities* - Develop and execute marketing plans across digital, print, and social media platforms - Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels - Create and moderate content for the NORWELD Membership Platform and website - Manage lending logistics and development of NORWELD’s kits and equipment (e.g., 3D printers, VR devices, coding kits) - Provides guidance and support for NORWELD members using kits and equipment - Research and recommend software, devices, and services for members - Collaborate with library staff and regional/state organizations to support events and outreach initiatives ------------------------------ *Qualifications* - Associate’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Library Science, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience - 2–5 years of experience in marketing, community engagement, or a related field preferred - Familiarity with libraries or nonprofits is a plus - Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team - Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Acrobat, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required *Candidates with nontraditional career paths or transferable skills are strongly encouraged to apply.* ------------------------------ *Working Conditions* This position requires occasional travel to member libraries and events across Northwest Ohio.
