Hello Adult Services Librarians! Last night I hosted a *Self-Defense & Situational Awareness* program for adult women and teen girls at the Clarkston Independence District Library. We had 23 attend and from all accounts it was a huge success! I can highly recommend the instructors, 7th degree black belt, Sensei Cliff Laskosky and his colleague, 2nd degree black belt, Amy Pollack from the Okinawa Budo Kai School of Karate & Kobudo in Livonia, MI. Sensei Cliff and Amy make a great team and have a sincere rapport with the participants. They are available for programs in Southeast Michigan.
