I wanted to bring your attention to a couple of programs in which you might be interested (especially if you are a sports fan) at the Dearborn Public Library.

- On Thursday, March 28th, we will have a program celebrating 100 Years of Red Wings Hockey here in Detroit. The Director of Collections at Ilitch Holdings, Marcel Parent, will be here to talk about show pictures detailing the history of the Red Wings. A very limited supply of Red Wings Bobbleheads will be given away to attendees (one per person). - On Saturday, March 28th, sports writer Simon Kuper will be talking with us virtually regarding his new book World Cup Fever: A Soccer Journey in Nine Tournaments. Mr. Kuper is one of the few remaining sports writers who have attended each World Cup Tournament since 1990.
