We are seeking a Circulation Assistant and a Substitute Circulation Assistant who enjoy being busy and like working with a variety of audiences. Circulation Assistants primarily work at our Main Check Out Desk, issuing library cards and handling patron questions about their card account and library services. Substitute employees are offered shifts as needed. CIRCULATION ASSISTANT Scheduled Hours and Compensation * Twenty (20) hours per week * Tuesday 3:00-9:00 PM * Wednesday 4:00-9:00 PM * Thursday 4:00-9:00 PM * Alternating Friday/Saturday 2:00-6:00 PM and one Sunday per month * $17.74-$20.82 per hour * Paid vacation accrual with one week's vacation available upon hire * Annual sick leave allowance * Paid holidays: nine official holidays plus three discretionary holidays and your birthday SUBSTITUTE CIRCULATION ASSISTANT Scheduled Hours and Compensation: * As needed, including evenings and weekends * $15.95-$18.77 per hour * Stellar Staff Award program, Longevity Awards and an active Social Committee APPLICATION INFORMATION: Only complete application packets (that include a current CPL application form<https://www.cantonpl.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/106/2021/08/CPL_Employment_Application.pdf>, resume and cover letter) received or postmarked by 6:00 PM on Sunday, December 8, 2024 will be considered.
