Greetings! Registration is now open for October Library Law Spotlight Webinar. This webinar will take place on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 11:00am-12:00pm. This month's topic is Bylaws. Bylaws are the rules that trustees must adhere to as members of the board. Attendance, recruitment, officer elections, duties and limits of authority are all topics that comprehensive bylaws may cover. Bylaws assist a board in maintaining order and in assuring consistency through changes in membership on the board. This session will discuss how a board can create, update and maintain their bylaws so their rules remain relevant and useful.
