December 17, 2021, 10:00am-12:00PM ET - Intellectual Freedom and Materials Challenges Materials challenges and incidents of attempted censorship have greatly increased across the country last year, with the ALA Office of Intellectual Freedom, as well as the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund and the National Coalition Against Censorship all facing exponential increases in requests for assistance in matters relating to complaints about school and public library books and programs. This session will discuss materials challenges and how libraries can prepare and respond .
