Director: Crooked Tree District Library (CTDL) seeks a knowledgeable, motivated and amiable individual as Director. The main library is located in Walloon Lake and it has a branch seven miles south in Boyne Falls. The villages and surrounding areas are known for their quiet outdoor lifestyle and recreational opportunities. It also serves a growing population of visitors who travel to enjoy those opportunities in northern Michigan. Nearby towns include Petoskey, Charlevoix and Boyne City, which offer many cultural, historic and recreational venues and opportunities year-round. CTDL is a Class 1 library, which serves Melrose and Boyne Valley Townships plus contract areas of Warner, Hudson and Chandler townships. The population of the service area is approximately 4000.
