Each unit has 6 shelves which are divided into 4 sections. Each of the shelves can hold 20 - 25 books (or more, depending on thickness of books). Total capacity = 480 - 500 books (again, depending on the size of the books). This rack is in excellent condition. It is quite heavy, but easy to transport as each unit detaches from the central pole. Must be able to pick-up from Galesburg.
