Head of Circulation/Reference The Vicksburg District Library is taking applications for the position of Head of Circulation and Reference Librarian. This is a permanent, part-time position (30 hrs/wk). Must have MLS/MLIS from an accredited school or be enrolled in a program earning a degree within one year. Experience preferred but not mandatory. Duties: ? Direct the circulation staff ? Oversee the operations and management of circulation system (Verso) ? Order adult materials, Audiobooks, Video Games, Large Print ? Moderate monthly book discussion group ? Interact with patrons ? Publicity- write South County News stories, create marketing materials and displays ? Page and circulation staff training and supervision ? Webmaster- manage website ? Aid patron in use of computers and tablets ? Other duties as assigned Qualifications: ? Knowledge of MicroSoft office programs ? Good verbal and written communication skills ? Familiarity with circulation systems Starting pay: $18-$20/hr Benefits include: ?
