Libraries Count (early math literacy) - seeking participating library staff

Hello, We are seeking public library staff in any US state to 1) complete Libraries Count<https://www.ecstemlab.com/library-staff.html>, an early math virtual professional learning program to support working with all young children and their families in math in public libraries, and 2) to provide feedback as a part of our research project to evaluate its effectiveness. * Libraries Count includes 10 modules hosted on Web junction. * Those who complete the program and the surveys get a $20 gift card. * Program evaluation goes live Nov 1, 2024. * Sign up today! More Information Our team has been co-creating the "Libraries Count" program with library staff, researchers, and families over the last 2 years. This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Early Childhood STEM Lab at East Tennessee State University and the School of Library and Information Studies at the University of Alabama, funded by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). The "Libraries Count" project is a three-year applied research study aimed at co-developing and evaluating a professional learning program designed to build the capacity of library staff to support diverse young children and their families in math. Your participation in this evaluation phase will help us evaluate and improve the program before it is rolled out to a wider audience.
