This Counter is a magnificent piece of American history and architectural craftsmanship: the original 1915 Main Delivery Desk / Checkout Counter from the historic Newaygo Carnegie Library in Newaygo, Michigan. Commissioned for the library’s grand opening in January 1915, this central fixture was manufactured by the renowned Standard School Fixtures Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan during the golden era of "Furniture City" manufacturing.
