The posting and application can also be found on our website at www.milfordlibrary.info Milford Public Library 330 Family Drive Milford, MI 48381 p: 248.684.0845 f: 248.684.29 EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY ADULT SERVICES LIBRARIAN POSITION: Librarian I – Adult Services Full Time (37.5 hours per week) Includes evening and weekend hours Vacation, sick leave, holidays, health benefits DUTIES: Provide reference and reader’s advisory assistance for library users of all ages Provide library users of all ages assistance accessing electronic information sources Participate in collection development projects Assist in planning, promotion, and implementation of programs for adults Supervision of Shelvers QUALIFICATIONS: MLS from an ALA accredited library school (or close to completion) Enthusiastic, positive public service orientation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with the public and with other library employees Public library experience preferred Experience providing genealogy reference preferred SALARY RANGE: $36,500 – $37,500 per year (with MLS) DEADLINE: June 18, 2018 or until position is filled APPLICATION: Application form (available at milfordlibrary.info), resume, and three references.
