Now Available from the Secretary of State: "It's time to vote" text and email reminders For the first time, Michigan voters can sign-up for free text or email reminders from the Secretary of State's office whenever an upcoming election is around the corner. To sign-up, go to Michigan.gov/sos and click on the red envelope. A similar service is also available to remind drivers when it's time to renew their license plate tabs. Cathleen P.
