The Ellis Library & Reference Center hosted John Kozak's presentation titled Through the Eyes of Rose: A Mother's Flight to Freedom in a Memory Mosaic last Thursday evening. The audience listened attentively as Mr. Kozak spoke of how his mother escaped the 1949 Communist regime in Czechoslovakia with her two children, one of which was Mr. Kozak himself, aged seven. The program was based on Kozak's book with the same title.
