The Northland Library Cooperative is honored to commemorate the retirement of current Director Linda Adams and celebrate hiring Stacy Pasche, current Director of the Benzie Shores District Library as Adams replacement. After serving at the Charlevoix Public Library as Director, Adams spent seven years guiding cooperative services throughout norther lower Michigan. “Linda’s strong leadership, passionate advocacy, and love of libraries benefited every library in the cooperative and she will be greatly missed” noted Northland Board Chair Ryan Deery, current Director of the Charlevoix Public Library. “At the same time, we are excited for our next chapter and specifically for the experience, passion, ideas, and leadership Stacy Pasche will bring to the role” Pasche has served at the Benzie Shores District Library for 17 years, including eight years as library director. During Pasche’s tenure as Director at Benzie Shores, she helped guide the library through a period of growth and innovation, overseeing the library’s expansion and the addition of the Harmony Garden, an outdoor space designed to support early literacy through music. She also strengthened community partnerships, expanded outreach and programming, and led initiatives that increased the library’s visibility and impact throughout the community. “I am excited to carry the lessons and experiences from my career into my new role with the Northland Library Cooperative and to continue supporting the important work of libraries throughout our region” stated Stacy.
