Does anyone have a computer use policy that is different from your internet use policy? I am finding that our "computer and internet use policy" does not fit when patrons are using the internet on their own devices. The policy says that parents are responsible for their child's internet use, but if they are using their own device (mostly phones), we are not requiring a parent permission form like we had been when they are using our computers. I think we need a separate policy for using our computers. Do we need one when we have open wifi that is available even when the library is closed? (Note: this policy is from 2016.)
